Shooting finished on "Breakdown"
Saturday 1st March 2014
A busy few weeks filming car chases, assassinations, fight sequences and some touching dialogue in and around London as well as at Ingatestone Hall in Essex. Definitely great fun working on Jonnie Malachi's first feature and a treat to watch the likes of Craig Fairbrass, James Cosmo and Emmett Scanlan at work. I can't wait to see the final thing.

Qatar National Day: Barzan Project, a job of Firsts
Monday 28th October 2013
Probably the most extreme job I have done to date and one that was full of firsts. First time using a SONY F55, first time in the Middle East, first time working off shore, first ride in a helicopter. The list goes on.
It was certainly an experience and I learnt a lot, from how to escape from a helicopter underwater to ship's ballast distribution whilst lifting 3,000 tonnes of gas rig.
Pictures soon to come on the MJDCAM Facebook page.
Now TBOSIET and H2S (OPITO Approved) Qualified
Friday 25th September 2013
These qualifications mean I am able to work off shore in tropical climates.
Training took place at Enertech's facility in Doha, Qatar and involved getting dunked into a swimming pool in a fake helicopter and escaping from it, basic fire fighting, first aid and how to use a gas mask.
This isn't applicable to the North Sea but the required BOSIET qualification can be obtained at a reduced price for holders of the tropical qualification.

What a year! Been up and down the country countless times (The Voice, Southbank Show, Crimewatch, Nat Geo's Ape Man) as well as out of the country (Spain and Greece (First Choice Holidays), Geneva Motor Show). A few stints on Dramas and Features (Black Mirror, Montana, Little Favour, Love.Honour.Obey, Brand New-U, AKA) and a number of music videos (Adam Ant: Cool Zombie).
It was great to work with all the crews and productions teams and I'd like to say thanks for what has certainly been a busy twelve months. Here's to the next twelve.
